This month we did our 2nd general DevOps meetup at Cloud World Forum in Olympia. Despite being the other side of London from our usual locations we had a great turnout and some really good speakers all talking about Cloud and Docker/Containers.
DevOps Exchange London Posts
This month we are going back to the roots and the theme will be 'Anything DevOps', a chance for speakers to tackle their preferred topic rather than being constrained by a narrower theme.
This month's meetup was for the significant number of you who live in the Windows world, and for those that are skeptical, a chance to see what life is like on the other side of the fence.
We kicked off the worlds largest DevOps meetup in 2015 with over 300 attendees, making this our largest meetup yet!
After only 9 meetups since we started DevOps Exchange London back in February, we are proud to announce we have grown to become THE WORLDS largest DevOps Meetup with over 1,650 members and between 200-300 attendees at every meetup!
We couldn't have got here without the amazing speakers, our partners and sponsors, and most importantly the London DevOps community coming back every month and telling their friends about us. It's great to see familiar faces in the audience and now with a bigger audience we're now attracting bigger sponsors (welcome Rackspace) and bigger speakers!
Every month, DevOps Exchange gets bigger and better. We've been officially London's largest DevOps meetup for a while now, and are very close to being the worlds largest outside the US! With scale attracts great speakers who are happy to fly all the way in especially to talk at our events - as Paul Dix (Founder of InfluxDB, based in New York) and Torkel Ödegaard (Creator of Grafana, based in Stockholm) did last week!
Last week we held the biggest DevOps Exchange London event yet, over 300 people attended on the night, and we'd like to thank our friends at Linux Recruit and AWS for their help! With talks on Kubernetes, Flynn and Elastic Beanstalk, this lineup was set to be a great one, and it didn't disappoint. If you missed out this time, check out next months event and join the meetup group here! All slides and videos from the meetup can be seen below.
Its that time of month when DevOps Exchange London has been and gone again. After yet another great event we have the slides and videos up for those who wish to relive it or simply didn't make it! We had the usual tech talks, 3 x 20 minutes from 3 very interesting speakers which gave us a view into their practices.
After yet another fantastic #DOXLON Meetup last week, its that time again for the round up videos and slides! This time around, we were kindly hosted by Moonfruit, in their amazing oxford circus offices. Again the Meetup featured 3 x 20 minute talks, this time on Continuous Delivery. We were highly entertained by all speakers (including Stevens laptop!) and everyone learnt a lot. The Meetup group currently stands with 650 members, join it here in order to be at the next event!
It's that time again, here are the videos and slides from DevOps Exchange London last week! The Meetup featured some fantastic talks ranging from docker networking, to building a high performance time series database from the ground up. We were kindly hosted by the Rainmaking Loft this time, located in St Katharine Docks there were plenty of great views to take in. Finally, everything ran smoothly, thanks to the big help from our friends at Linux Recruit.
